I have the coolest best friend ever
Dwayne always makes me feel better. He showed me that no matter how much I compare myself to others there are others comparing themselves to me. The grass might be greener on the other side but my grass is pretty damn green. I guess I just have to accept the fact that I’ll never be happy with what I’ve got. I’ll never be tall enough, fast enough, strong enough, or charismatic enough. Because even if I was 6ft I’d want to be 6’2” I’d want to lift more.
But I think I could be happy if I had someone that I loved who loved me back. Someone I could hold and know that they would be there for me. Someone who I could trust and would stay by me and fight with me instead of running away at the first sign of trouble. I could take anything life threw at me with someone like that -
Yup still depressed
Today has been rough. Maybe its just that I probably have to sell my truck because it costs too much fill up the tank. But right now I’m hiding in the bathroom because I am too tired and upset to deal with a bunch of drunk people some of whom make me feel inadequate. I’m not happy right now and I just want to leave but it would take so much effort to make my goodbyes properly but if I wait longer im going to be even more tired on the drive home from fucking Hollywood with a ( most likely) failing transmission. This is going to be stressful

Don’t stop chasing.
I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.
